Lovely local shoulder bags.

I've just taken delivery of my very first consignment of shoulder or messenger bags- and I LOVE them. You might look at them and immediately christen them "man bags"- it's true, they are perfect for the man who's out and about with all his electronic kit. But there are also plenty of women who need to carry a tablet, kindle or lap top with them too. So I think they're ideal for anyone who needs to carry a variety of valuable items, without them bumping against one another, yet remaining accessible, when on the move.

Each bag has been individually crafted by local Rothbury designer, Ellison Stephenson and includes a wealth of clever, carefully considered design features. There's a variety of zipped pockets- with sturdy metal zips, a long adjustable shoulder strap- suitable for even tall people like me and metal clasps to fasten the bag.  But not only are these bags highly practical- they also look great and are finished to an impressive level of  craftsmanship. As each one is individually made by the designer, you won't be surprised that they cost more than your run of the mill, mass produced satchel. But at £90 for the biggest, it's a fantastic deal.

So guess what my own son in law is getting for his birthday?!!
